Billy Max Stephens
Billy Max Stephens was born February 14, 1943 in Ryan, Oklahoma to W.C. (Bill) Stephens and Gladys Marie Nesmith Stephens. He passed from this life Monday, April 2, 2012 in the Meridian Nursing Home with his family at his side at the age of 69.
Max attended and graduated from Duncan High School. He attended Cameron and Oklahoma University. He and Monica Lee Bartlett were married October 6, 1979 in Cookson, Oklahoma. Max served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for Symon's Concrete Forming Systems in sales for over 32 years until his retirement in 2009. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and cattle rancher.
He is survived by his wife - Monica of the home in Ryan, daughters - Charlee Max Williams and husband Luke of Kyle, Texas, Justine Lee Oney and husband Bo of Ryan, Oklahoma, and Dannye Raydene Stephens of Stephenville, Texas, grandchildren - Joshua Hoyt Williams and Anabelle Andy Oney, mother - Gladys Stephens, siblings - Doug Stephens, Deb Lietzke, and Sandy Marion. He was preceded in death by his father - Bill and younger brother Andy Stephens.
Funeral service will be Friday, April 6, 2012 at 1:00PM at the First United Methodist Church in Ryan with Rev. Debbie Kerr officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Thursday from 10AM-8PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. (612 Washington) Family requests memorials be made to the Meridian Nursing Home to show the family's appreciation for the love, care, and support they gave to Max and his family.
