William Sidney Lee Billy Gilmore passed from this life on July 1, 2002, at the age of sixty. He was born April 13, 1942, to Sidney and Marjorie Roberts Gilmore in Montague, Texas. Mr. Gilmore was a livestock auctioneer. He and Carol Phillips were united in marriage on October 14, 1960, in Bowie, Texas. He was a member of the Addington Baptist Church

Survivors include: his mother, Marjorie Gilmore of Bowie, TX; his wife, Carol Gilmore of Waurika, OK; three sons - Billy Gilmore of Waurika, OK, Lee Gilmore and his wife Lisa of Addington, OK, and Jason Gilmore and his wife Tiffany of Wichita Falls, TX; one daughter, Denise Bacon and her husband Danny of Addington, OK; four brothers - Steve, Wilburn, Jimmy, and Ronnie Gilmore, all of Bowie, TX; one sister, Pat Phillips of Bowie, TX; seven grandchildren - Aaron Wheeler, Sarah Wheeler, Sidney Gilmore, Robert Gilmore, Lilly Gilmore, Cole Gilmore, and Allysonn Cheatwood; and one great-grandchild, Gavyn Wheeler

He is preceded in death by his father Sid Gilmore and one sister, Nora Lou Gilmore

Funeral services for Mr. Gilmore were at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at the Addington Baptist Church with Mike Bernhardt officiating. Burial was in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
