Billy Don Ritter
Billy Don Ritter was born May 24, 1928 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Marvin and Mabel Ruth Davis Ritter. He passed from this life June 6, 2020 at his daughter's home in Waurika. He attended Marlow Public Schools. He worked as a cook in Duncan and Waurika, Oklahoma for numerous restaurants, including the Chisholm Trail, the Country Club, and Darvin Bates. He married Evelyne Keck March 21, 1951, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was a member of Addington Baptist Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Evelyne on February 19, 2011, and one son, Deral Dean Ritter, on December 2, 2007, and siblings - Max Hogue, Bob Ritter, Roy Ritter, Dolores Henager.
Survivors include: daughters Betty and her husband Jim Elkins of Waurika, OK, and Carol and her husband Gayle Austin, of Waurika, OK; brothers Bud Ritter and his wife Sherry, and Louise and her husband Frankie Herndon; grandchildren - Barbara, Devon, Deralin, Beth, Mickey, Brett, Brittany, Brandon, Connie, and Debbie; and great-grandchildren Cache, Trent, Alexis, and Max.
Funeral services are at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at the Addington Baptist Church with Mike Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Letitia Cemetery in Comanche County, near Lawton. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the family receiving visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika.
