Beuna Lee Miller passed from this life on Tuesday, November 13, 2001, in Ryan, Oklahoma, at the age of 96.

She was born September 6, 1905, the youngest of three children born to Thomas Nelson and Lora Belle Patterson in their home west of Ryan. She was a 1925 graduate of Ryan High School and attended Oklahoma Women's College in Chickasha. She taught school in Grady, Oklahoma for three years.

On December 25, 1931, she and Ivon R. Miller, also from Ryon, were married in Marietta, Oklahoma. Following their marriage, they moved to Oklahoma City where they made their home for many years. Mr. Miller preceded her in death on October 15, 1966. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Roy Patterson, and her sister, Beth Strong.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James Lee and Mary Ann Miller of Henrietta, TX; three granddaughters - Lora Miller of Ryan, OK, Edythe and her husband, Barry Koch of Henrietta, TX, and Jamie Gross of Olney, TX; six great-grandchildren - Jennifer and Joey Gross, and Garrett, Kadie and Susie Koch; and one nephew - Roy Patterson of Spring, TX.

Graveside services, under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan, were held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 16, 2001, in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City with the Rev. Jerry Walker, Senior Adult Minister of the Baptist Temple in Oklahoma City, officiating.
