Betty Aline McManus, age 74, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011. She was born on June 18th, 1937 to Doyle Price Webb and Ina Mull Webb in Idabel, Oklahoma. Betty grew up in Addington, Oklahoma and graduated from Addington High School in 1955. Betty and Billy Ray McManus were united in marriage on April 28th, 1956. They made their home in Waurika, Oklahoma, where she was a homemaker and also the book keeper for her husband’s glass business. Betty was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and most everyone, even her friends called and knew her by “Nan”. Nan loved the lord and was a long time member of the Waurika Nazarene Church. She spent her days loving the lord, loving her family and caring for others.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Ray, daughter Teresa Ann, brother Alfred Leroy Webb, mother Ina Mull Webb and father Doyle Price Webb.

Survivors include her daughter Shelia Wall and husband Kenny. Grandchildren Shanda Yasuda and husband Paul, Jamey Wall and two great grandchildren Joel and Abby Yasuda. Brothers, Doyle Webb and his wife Cynthia, J.T. Webb, Archie Webb and wife Vesta, Phil Webb and wife Earlene and a sister Hilda Epple.

The family would like to thank the Chisolm Trail Hospice, pharmacist Biff Eck and the many other wonderful people, who helped care for Betty, during her battle with cancer.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 19th, 2011 at the Waurika Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Paul Stroud and Noel Curington officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 18th, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Betty, can be made to the American Cancer Society and Chisholm Trail Hospice.
