Beth M. Boles

Beth M. Boles, 92, resident of Hereford, TX was called home to her Lord on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 16, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dudley Funeral home, 414 N. Elm, Waurika OK. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 17 at 2 p.m. at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel with her minister, John Henley officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Robert Dennis Boles, Demian Baum, Robert Dale Boles, Kai Scott, Collin Prock, and Guy Jerez.
Beth was born February 25, 1925, in Tulia, Texas, to Clarence Jefferson and Mary Nanny (Wingo) Hartwick. Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dale Boles, MD, her parents, Clarence and Nanny Hartwick, her son, Robert David Boles, MD, her two sisters, Auda Lee White and Peggy Brewer, as well as her brother, Buford Hartwick.
Survivors include her children: Billye Gayle Boles of Pflugerville, TX, Rebecca and Dr. John Gregg of Hereford, TX, and Jeffery Hartwick Boles of Dodge City, KS; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Hunt of Tracy, CA; Demian and K'nok Baum of Las Vegas, NV; Amanda Boles and Kai Scott of Dodge City, KS, Mariah and Collin Prock of Edmond, OK; Kelli Gregg and Mark Almack of Ames, OK; Robert Dennis and Carrie Boles of Dodge City, KS; and Robert Dale Boles of Denver, CO. Beth also left 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Beth graduated from training at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas as a Registered Nurse in 1945. She met her husband, Robert Dale Boles, in Duncan, Oklahoma and they married July 10, 1948. Robert Dale Boles graduated as a physician, and the couple raised their four children while moving from Texas to Oklahoma to Arkansas to Colorado and finally to Kansas as he completed medical school and his internship. They lived in Dodge City KS from 1954 until Dr. Boles retired in 1987, then moved back "home" to Oklahoma.
Beth loved reading, which she passed on to her children, card games and dominoes. She enjoyed seeing new places, traveling throughout the US as her children were growing up and then internationally when the children were grown. She and Dale travelled the world, visiting dozens of countries from Russia to Tahiti to Ireland until her husband passed in 2001. She lived independently and close to a niece in Oklahoma until moving to a King's Manor cottage in Hereford TX in 2009 where she was one mile from her daughter, Becky and where she rarely missed a Friday hair appointment & lunch or a Sunday worship. She leaves her family overflowing with blessed memories.
