Bertha Mae Williams

Bertha Mae Williams was born January 3, 1940, in Mountainburg, Arkansas, to Guy and Ethel Poor Kilpatrick. Bertha passed from this life Saturday, January 13, 2007, at the Ryan Nursing Home at the age of seventy-four. Bertha worked as a seamstress for Haggar in Bowie, Texas and later for Basco Leather Goods. Bertha and Jewell Williams were married May 11, 1955, in Muse, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Ryan Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Jewell, of the home in Ryan, OK; two daughters - Angela and her husband Alvin Sullivan of Waurika, OK and Betty and her husband Charles Keith of Waurika, OK; five brothers - Bobbie Kilpatrick and his wife Shirley of Canadian, OK, Vernon Kilpatrick and his wife Ruby of Hinton, OK, Chris Kirkpatrick and his wife Vicki of Checotah, OK, Odell Kilpatrick and his wife Shannon of Lookeba, OK, and Victor Kilpatrick of Foss, OK; one sister - Mary and her husband Don Poor of Foss, OK; five grandchildren - Christy Lambert, Michael Williams, C.J. Keith, Justin Sullivan, and Cory Sullivan; and five great-grandchildren - Kailey Lambert, Colton Lambert, Rason, Lamber, and Justyce Keith, and Caiden Keith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son David, Coty Williams, and a sister, Velma Roan.

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams were at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2007, at the Assembly of God Church in Ryan, Oklahoma, with Bro. Paul Ratliff officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ryan Assembly of God Church.Church in Ryan.
