Bernice Robinson was born August 21, 1914, in Paris, Texas to Bertha Coker and L.E. Ingram. She passed from this life Friday, May 16, 2008, at the Ryan, Oklahoma, Nursing Home at the age of ninety-three. Bernice and Jim Robinson were married October 18, 1932 in Jefferson County. He preceded her in death in 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, Doris Snell, four brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include: one son Jimmy Robinson and his wife Marrena of Ingram, TX; two daughters - Barbara Gillum of Ryan, OK, and Beth Armer of Crescent, OK; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson will be at 1:30 PM, Monday, May 19, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Ryan, with Jason Vance officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Visitation will be Sunday, May 18, 2008, at the Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Craig Gillum, Brad Gillum, Brent Armer, Kevin Armer, April Armer, and Tres Robinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Citizens' Center in Ryan.
