Berma Lois (Shawn) Thomas was born March 10, 1936 in Bridgeport, Texas to Weldon Shawn and Lorene Pewitt (Richardson) Shawn. She passed from this life September 30, 2011 at United Regional Healthcare in Wichita Falls, Texas at the age of seventy-five. She and Glen God were united in marriage in 1951 and to this union was born three children - Levita, Mike and Stan. She married Don Thomas in 1971. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2010. They were owners and operators of Thomas Heating and Air. She was a member of the Floral Heights Methodist church in Wichita Falls and later became a member of the United Methodist Church of Ryan. She was a member of the Daughter of the Nile and was Queen of the Nile in the late 80's.
She is survived by her daughter - Levita Barrett and husband Rash , sons - Mike and wife Kay Good, Stan and wife Cherryl Good, step children - Charlotte Neide, Loyd Thomas, and Floyd Thomas, neice - Tammy Mcleney, nephew - Cayce Shawn, fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers - Gary Shawn and Larry Shawn, and sister - Vickie Berry.

The family will have a private service at a later time. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Ryan Methodist Church or Daughters of the Nile.
