Barbara Jean "Barb" (O'Neal) Johnson

Barbara Jean "Barb" (O'Neal) Johnson, 61, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life Saturday, November 14, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born January 24, 1954, in Nocona, Texas, to Barney and Opal (Wallace) O'Neal.
Barb worked for Victory Christian School in Tulsa as a registered nurse. She held a bachelor's degree in nursing. She was a member of the Victory Christian Center in Tulsa. She was a member and board member of Word Alive in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She lived most of her life in Waurika but lived in Tulsa for fourteen years. She was an amazing seamstress, loved to fish, and loved to participate in church-related activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents Barney and Opal O'Neal, one son Brian Anthony Sanchez, one step-daughter Ada Marie Franklin, and one sister Nita Dittman.
Survivors include: her husband Michael A. Johnson of the home in Waurika, OK; one son David Vaden Sanchez of Moore, OK; one daughter-in-law Irene Villarreal; three sisters - Beverly Pratt, Opal Marie O'Neal, and Christine Fritts; grandchildren - David Alexander Sanchez of Ryan, OK, Galen Rene Sanchez of Oklahoma City, OK, David Austin Sanchez of Edmond, OK, Jonathan Blake Sanchez of Terral, OK, Cristian Abel Sanchez of Moore, OK, Jarrod Chewy of Oklahoma City, OK, Mark Anthony Sanchez of El Reno, OK, Bailey Franklin of Wichita Falls, TX, Jacqueline Michelle Sanchez of El Reno, OK, and Princess Rosales-Sanchez of El Paso, TX; and one great-grandchild - Kayden Michelle Sanchez.
Funeral services Mrs. Johnson will be as follows: A private burial for the family will be before the service. A celebration of life service will be at 11:30 AM at the Waurika Assembly of God Church under the direction of Bro. Chris Brown. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. Honorary pallbearers wll be James Dittman, Terry Buckmaster and Jimmy Buckmaster. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika Monday afternoon until 6:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, your local hospice or the Waurika Assembly of God Church 905 N Elm, Waurika, OK, 73573.
