Avis Leigh was born May 24, 1935 in Leedy, Oklahoma to L.C. and Elva (Miller) Haskins. She passed in to eternity with Jesus holding her hand on January 10, 2009 at the Ryan Nursing Home at the age of seventy-three. She was a Master Insurance Adjuster until her retirement.
She is survived by her two daughters - Kelly Kell of Waurika, Oklahoma and Robin Allen of Flowermound, Texas, one brother - Bryant Haskins, three grandchildren - Kenneth Lee Kell, Josh Merriman, and Lindsi Merriman, one great grandchild - Baylen Merriman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother - Dwight Haskins, and sister - Gwen Dunnagan.
Celebration of her life will be held at the Waurika Cemetery at 1:00PM Tuesday, January 13, 2009 with Rev. Jeff McLemore officiating. Burial is under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
