Ava Maurine Spradling passed from this life on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at Life Quality Homes of Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of ninety-four. Maurine was born February 21, 1909 to I.B. and Blanche Clifton in Waurika, Oklahoma. She married David Kelso Spradling. She was a homemaker, music teacher and composer.

Survivors include one son - Dave Spradling II and his wife Nancy, and two grandsons: David III and Sean

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David K. Spradling.
