Audrey Marie Boggs was born July 2, 1920, in Redland, Oklahoma, to Kye and Mary Ann Kelly Black. She passed from this life Sunday, February 24, 2008, at the Ryan Nursing Home at the age of eighty- seven. She was a nurses aide for Woods Nursing Home for many years. She was a caretaker for people in their homes. She and Marvin Otto Boggs were married August 14, 1937, in Logan County Arkansas. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2007. Audrey raised five children; Ocie Young of Arcomo, Oklahoma, Bonnie Cantu of Grand Prairie, Texas, Jim Fletcher of Waurika, Oklahoma, Sindi Fletcher of Waurika, Oklahoma, and Billy Ray Boggs, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one brother - Leon Black of Waurika, OK; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.k of Waurika

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Bill Black, and two sisters, Orphie Roberts and Betty Black.

Funeral services for Mrs. Boggs were at 9:00 Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Noel Curington officiating. Burial will be in the Bloodsworth Cemetery in Booneville, Arkansas, under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
