Arthur Lee Hood was born December 25, 1951, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to Nelda and Hosey Hood. He passed from this life Friday, August 12, 2005, in Oklahoma City at the age of fifty-three.

Survivors include: his mother - Nelda Doyal of Ryan, OK; one son - Arthur Lee Hood Jr.; three brothers - Jack Albert Hood, Sr., Jessie Tilton Hood, Sr., and Tom Allen Doyal; one step-brother - John Henry Williams; one sister - Laura Jean Johnson; three step-sisters - Martha Helloms, Bessie Miser, and Barbara Haas; three grandchildren; one niece, six nephews; two great-nieces; and four great-nephews.

Services were held Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at the Ryan Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Key officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
