Arnold Lee Moore was born September 30, 1919, in Wirt, Oklahoma, to K.G. & Jessie Moore. He passed from this life on Friday, February, 8, 2002, at his home in Comanche, Oklahoma, at the age of 82. He and Norma Cookie Moore were married July 12, 1944, in Fresno, California. He was an oil field pumper for ViRoy Oil Company.

Mr. Moore was a veteran who served four years in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the senior citizens center and belonged to the First Baptist Church in Comanche, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: his wife Cookie of the home; and two sons - Ronald L. Moore and his wife Alice J. of Loco, TX; and Danny S. Moore and his wife Alice K. of Comanche, OK; grandchildren - Chris Moore of Comanche, Ronson Moore of Velma, OK, and Tena Moore of Loco, TX; and great-grandchildren - Rebecca Moore of Loco, TX, and Jordon Moore of Velma, OK.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore were at the First Baptist Church in Comanche at 10:00 AM, Monday, Febuary 11, 2002, with Gary Smith officiating. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
