Argilee Christine Bernard passed from this life on Sunday, February 3, 2002, at the age of 80. She was born January 29, 1922, to Virgil and Violet Price Wallace, in Francis, Oklahoma. Mrs. Bernard was a waitress at Bill's Fish House for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Addington, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Bernard is survived by: three sons - Bennie Burke of Devol, OK, Frank Robert of Hollis, OK, and Jimmy Dale of Waurika, OK; two daughters - Billy Ruth Matthews of Wichita Falls, TX and Alta Lee Barr of Duncan, OK; two sisters - Reta Beltran of Forest Hill, CA, and Velma Roland of Forest Hill, CA; seventeen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and Mr. Bill Bernard of Waurika, OK.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Violet Wallace, two brothers, one sister, and two grandsons, Michael Kirby and Ricky Elkins.

Services for Mrs. Bernard were at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 6, 2002, at Addington Baptist Church with Mike Bernhardt officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
