Ardell Gillum was born July 14, 1927 in Katy, Oklahoma for Verna Sylvester and Syrildia Plew Gillum.  He passed from this life February 1, 2010 in Wynnewood Care Center at the age of eighty-two. He was a farmer and rancher and worked for several years at Big Chief Shingle Company in Ardmore. 

He is survived by two brothers - Jim Gillum of Wilson and Hughie Lee Gillum of Waco, Texas, sister - Altie Marie Rowe of Choctaw, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant sisters, two brothers - Marvin and Leo, and two sisters Maudie Ann and Pauline.

Service will be Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 2:30 at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel (612 Washington).  Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudey Funeral Home in Ryan.  Visitation will be Thursday from 10AM to service time.
