Anora Pearl Williams

Anora Pearl Williams was born inTerral, Oklahoma on May 25,1932 to O.D.and Annie Laura Goff Gamble. She passed from this life Friday, August 16, 2013 at Jefferson County Hospital at the age of 81.
She was a 1950 graduate of Union Valley High School. She and Jimmy Williams were married in Henrietta, Texas on June 10,1950. She worked for Ryan Nursing Home and also for Ryan Public School. She was the librarian and cook for many years at Ryan Schools. She was a member of the Ryan Church of Christ. Anora loved to cook, read and sew. She also was a great artist that loved to paint and draw. She loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years - Jimmy Williams Children - James Williams, Doug Williams and wife Debbie, Ronnie Williams and wife Dianne, and Bobby Williams and wife Valerie. Sister - Betty Lou Talbott Grandchildren - Chris Williams, Steve Williams, Traci Clem, Amanda Fleming, Frank Williams, Charissa Rodriguez, Matthew Williams, Thomas Williams, and Michelle Showalter which she raised as her own. 11 Great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister JoAnna Wright, and two grandchildren - Curtis and Cody.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Ryan Church of Christ with David Wingfield and Rodger Schwenn officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8PM at the funeral home in Ryan.
