Patricia Ann Scott

Patricia Ann Scott, 74, passed from this life Tuesday, September 6, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 2, 1942, to Clifford Van and Auda Lee White in Duncan, Oklahoma. Eventually the family moved to Hastings, Oklahoma, where Ann attended school and finally graduated from Waurika High School.

Ann and Gary Keith Scott of Waurika were married September 2, 1961. They spent several years living in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Dodge City, Kansas, and Dallas, Texas, but in 1969 they moved back to Waurika in order to help out with the family parakeet business. Ann worked alongside Gary in the business, building it up to a thriving part of the community for many years until they both retired in 1998.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband Gary, her parents Van and Auda Lee, a brother Larry Neil White, a sister Vanda Jean Turner, and two nieces.

Survivors include: her daughter DaRenda Bush of Farmersville, TX; her son Eric Keith Scott and his wife Doris of Waurika, OK; four grandsons - Kyle Bush of Waurika, OK, Kellen Bush of Plano, TX, and Derrick and Will Scott of Waurika, OK; her aunt Beth Boles of Hereford, TX; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, September 9, 2016, at the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with the family receiving visitors from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
