Alma Elaine Lindesmith

Alma Elaine Lindesmith, 66, passed away January 13, 2014, in Comanche, Oklahoma. She was born October 6, 1947, in Atoka, Oklahoma, to Hayden and Noma Lee (Bowen) Winslett.
Alma was a 1965 graduate of Comanche High School. She married Bill Lindesmith August 13, 1965, in Addington Oklahoma. Her hobbies included jewelry making and gem hunting. She enjoyed nature and loved all kinds of animals, raising rabbits, baby squirrels, raccoons, turkeys and anything else that was brought to her door. She loved to go fishing and especially loved taking her grandsons fishing with her. She also loved to read poetry. She was a member of the Addington Baptist Church.
Alma is survived by her husband Bill, of the home, sons Michael of Duncan, OK, Jerry and his wife Jenny of Marlow, OK, and Casey of Waurika, OK, grandsons - Reno and Bryce Lindesmith of Polson, Montana, Jacob and Joseph Lindesmith of Marlow, OK and Patrick Lindesmith of Duncan, OK, her brothers Merl Winslett and his wife Linda of Oklahoma City/Tulsa, OK, Allen Winslett and his wife Kalene of Denison, TX, and Wesley Winslett of Duncan, OK, her sisters Stella and her husband Ralph Lindesmith of Waurika, OK, and Edith and her husband Jack Phillips of Duncan, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2014, at the Addington Baptist Church with Dan Standifer and Jason Ebenhack officiating. Burial will be in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika. Pallbearers will be grandsons Reno, Bryce and Patrick Lindesmith, Lance Winslett, Chance Winslett, and Chuck Thompson. Honorary pallbearer will be Ernie Holland.
