Alice Arizola

Alice Arizola, 66, went to be with her Heavenly father on March 28, 2013, after a long battle with colon cancer. She donated her body to GenLife Institute for medical research.
She was the third of eight children born to Marcella M. Arizola on December 28, 1946 in Amarillo, TX. She grew up as a migrant worker, along with her mother and siblings. In the 1960's her family moved to Weatherford, TX, where she worked at The Park Café as a dishwasher until they relocated to Ryan, settled and called "home". She cleaned the First United Methodist Church, as well as, becoming a housekeeper and caregiver for many residents of the community. She was blest with the ability to make anything sparkle and shine.
She became a Nannie in 2010 to her granddaughter Calei, whom she called "Princess". This became her motivation to fight thru all the invasive surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She always had faith and believed the Lord would keep her here as long as needed and take her when he was ready. She loved her family and friends dearly and enjoyed attending church, completing puzzles, crafts and playing bingo.
She is survived by her daughter, Consuelo Linda "Consi" (Arizola) Cain and husband Sidney, granddaughter Calei Coevie Cain "Princess" of Orlando, Ok; two brothers, Sipriano "Samby" and Phillip Arizola of Ryan, Ok; three sisters, Margarita Martin and husband Bobby Joe, Nocona, TX, Josie Smith, Iowa Park, TX, Becky Zachary and spouse Jody, Oklahoma City, Ok; two nephews, Jerod Guillen and wife Lacey, Idalou, TX, Eddie Grubbs, Jr., Iowa Park, TX; two nieces, Natasha Grubbs, Iowa Park, TX, Erika Guillen, Aurora, Co; four great nieces, Katelyn Martin, Kaitlyn and Kyndal Grubbs and Ana Peaveler; five great nephews, Christian Peaveler, Keegan Grubbs, Ayden, Jaylen and Jaysen Davis; numerous cousins.
