Agnes Virginia Dean

Agnes Virginia Dean was born April 30, 1932, in Ryan, Oklahoma to Ida Tudor Rodgers and James Perry Pealor Sr. Agnes passed from this life Saturday, February 11, 2006, at her son’s home in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of seventy-three. Agnes was a homemaker and very active member of the United Methodist Church in Waurika. She was also a member of the Eastern Star in her earlier years and devoted wife and mother. She and Pug Dean were married August 14, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death March 13, 2005.

Survivors include: two sons - James Kim and his wife Tamra Dee Collins and William Pealor Bill and his wife Lacretia Collins; four step-sons - Lee David Collins, Jr. and his wife Geraldine, Jimmy Dean, Jeff Dean, and John Dean; one step-daughter - Karen Sue and her husband Michael Peoples; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James, one son Rodgers Pealor Collins, and her husband Pug.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dean were at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church of Waurika with Trevor Smith and Reed Montgomery officiating. Honoray pallbearers were Stacey Phillip, Kim Kauok, Tamera Lynn Collins, James Collins, and Brienna Collins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Ardmore Foundation, Inc., 1308 C St. SE, Ardmore, OK 73401.
