A. C. Dyer
A.C. Dyer, 89, of Grady, Oklahoma, passed from this life September 30, 2015, in Waurika, Oklahoma. He was born September 19, 1926, in Pittsburg, Oklahoma, to Hardy "Hub" and Alice "Reading" Dyer. He married Bobby Sue Tate on July 30, 1947.
Mr. Dyer was an oilfield worker for Reagan Production. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Terral, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hub and Alice Dyer, his wife Bobby Sue on January 3, 1993, his daughter Shirley Thomasson, his brothers Herbert and Jesse Dyer, and his sisters Virgie Norris, Syl Dyer, and Lee Reading.
Survivors include: his son Mike Dyer and his wife Joanna of Waurika, OK, and his daughter Diane and her husband John York of Bowie, TX; grandchildren - Kenny, Carolyn, Amanda, Jared, Karen, Matt, and Amy; seventeen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Dyer will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2015, at the Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Waurika with Bob Waitman, Mark Kunkel, and Mike Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Grady Cemetery in Grady, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Kenny Wilkerson, Mike Dean, Robert Parkhill, Royce Lynn Reagan, A.C. Thompson, Li'l Roy xxxxx, and Ken Seay. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Porterfield, Rick Skinner, Jimmy Howard, Todd Turner, Rocky Fitzgerald, Dustin Weatherly, Floyd Dale Fuller, and Dorotha Seay. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday, October 2, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika. The family will be in attendance from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
