Weldon Ray Martin

Weldon Ray Martin was born February 20, 1935 in Cleburne, Texas to Bertha May (Locke) and Marvin Savoy Martin. Weldon passed from this life Sunday, October 3, 2021 at his home in Terral at the age of 86. He worked for Jefferson County District 3 for several years. He and Doris Bussey were married May 20, in Nocona, Texas.. He also enjoyed farming.

Weldon is survived by his wife - Doris of the home in Terral, sons - Chad Martin and Brent Martin and his wife Janice, sister -Florence Turner of Muskogee, Oklahoma, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two daughters - Brenda and Sonya.

Funeral service will be Monday at 1:00PM at the Terral Cemetery with Mark Kunkel officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Terral. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-6 PM at the Terral Funeral Home.
