Dale Ray Youree

Dale Ray Youree was born July 9, 1928 in Hulen, Oklahoma to Raymond and Gardy Lee (Harris) Youree. He passed from this life Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the age of 93. Dale finished high school and went to college at Oklahoma A&M (OSU). He married Florence Marley Price February 18. 1950 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They were just a few weeks shy of celebrating their 72nd wedding anniversary.

Dale was a rancher and horse trainer. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Dale accomplished everything he set his mind to. From world titles, teaching and training world champions, mastering his passion of barrel racing, to being the best husband, father and grandfather. His greatest accomplishment was accepting the Lord as his savior and living his life so that others knew the love he had for Him.

Survivors include his wife Florence of the home in Addington , daughter Renee' Ward and husband James, grandchildren - Janae Massey and husband Ty, Cassie Ambrose and husband Austin, and Kylie Weast and husband Jay, great grandchildren - Chazli Massey, Calen Ambrose, Owen Ambrose, Marcus Weast, and Marlie Weast, sisters in law - Sherry Johnson and Jerry Youree, nieces Becky Bradley and Katrina Youree, and nephew -Timmie Youree.

He was preceded in death by his son - John Raymond ``Johnny" Youree and brother Tim Youree.

Funeral service for Mr. Youree will be Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00PM at Providence Baptist Church with Dee Bowen officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 11AM-7PM with family receiving visitors from 5-7PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Interment will be in Addington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church.
